DESCRIPTION:Ed LaCroix will CD April’s PMGC F3L contest. \nThis month’s PMGC F3L club contest. Minimum 6 rounds.\nDrop round after round 4.\nWe will be using 100m bungees.\nThe field is found at GPS coordinates of-  32.93099° N\, 111.89596° W\nRegistrants must have current AMA membership. Pilots must obey all AMA and local flight regulations.\nTeams shall be minimum 3 pilots. Team Names can be included during registration. Any registered pilot(s) NOT on a pre-registered team will be assigned to a team(s) by the CD.\nFAI F3L tasks will be flown in accordance with the 2025 FAI Sporting Code: https://www.fai.org/sites/default/files/sc4_vol_f3_soaring_25.pdf (See page 51)\nF3L.3.1. Model Construction\nNon-wooden parts including\, tow-hook\, 3D printed parts such as ballast tube/box\, electrical connections and antenna mounting will be allowed.\nNOTE: F5L planes (electric F3L)- Entries equipped with motors must remove the prop and spinner and the motor shaft covered by a wooden nosecone.\nF3L.3.2. The Following are Not Allowed\nAny telemetry with the exception of radio signal strength\, receiver temperature and battery voltage. No variometer permitted.\nYou may have additional telemetry installed in the model\, but it must be disabled during the contest. That is\, it may not be displayed or play sounds.\nNote: There is no penalty for a plane that comes to rest upside down at the time of landing. However\, if parts are shed or damage is incurred that results in a model not being immediately airworthy then the 0 points for landing.\nLunch will be served by Chef Armstrong.
